try to answer what they can and leave the others for someone else.
Though I have seen instances (they're very few and far between, but I've
seen them) where someone asked a question which 95% of the list could
answer, but because everyone assumed someone else would answer it, no
one did. And the person got pissed off because no one answered his
question. Chill, man, chill. :^)

I have a feeling it must have been to a post of mine, made off-list. But it
does illustrate perfectly well why you should quote the relevant parts of a
message, even if Philip probably didn't intend it that way :)

Which is why I try to answer most questions I can, especially if I notice
nobody else has...
