Is there any information in print about Aztlan? All I can find is short
references to it in various SR products (NAN 1&2, Neo-NA, SRII) but nothing
solid just rumors and the like. I am trying to develop a campaign that will
take the players to Aztlan. Particularly the Yucatan Peninsula. If there is
not anything substantial in print, please post opinions you may have. My
interests are in their attitude toward Archeology (Mayan), what happened to
Belize (small country south of Mexico), access to transportation into and out
of , etc. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Actually I was wondering what Atzalan are you talking about? The
sourcebook? Or is there something else?

The sourcebook. There is a conversation with the above participants threaded
through the book.

Unconfirmed but a possibility.

Brane Deigh, is correct, she obviously represnets the Tir and is
'young' i.e. not born of the fourth world (prob spike baby) which all
fits.

> Unknown1 = ? [The unknown eavesdropping decker]

Captian Chaos say two Human mages. Assuming he is correct in that,
and he probably is then i don't know who they could be.

> Brightlight = ? ???
Ah Ha!
I actually guessed this one right he 'Leonardo Da Vinchi' from the
Novel 'Black Madonna' try copmaring the places the art is with page
66 of the Atzlan Sourcebook where they talk about Brightlight. This
one was directly confirmed by one of the freelancers on the list, i
would have posted a lot earlier but was far too busy for over a month
after the novel came out to post much and got beaten to it by someone
that actually knew.

====
Now Otaku.
Read 'black Madonna'. more info but on 'direct' answers.

The sourcebook. Although I don't own it, the names mentioned (which I
snipped) are those of the people making "shadow"-comments in the book. As
with VR2.0 and It, there was a big discussion about these folks on this
list last year, just after the Aztlan book came out.

Umsondo is a Zulu word... I'd expect him to be one of the Shamans of the

No, there is very little data. It only actually shows up as far as i
know in one novel, 'Nosferatu' i think, but i'm working from
memory. (someone correct as needed).

The Zulu/ South African Elves Nation is the third Elven Nation
mentioned so Far the other being the Tir's of course.

These three places between them 'probably' match the 4th world
nations of 'wyrm wood (later Blood wood)', Shoistra [well the
spelling awful - the break away elven nation] and Thera [after all
their island blew up at the end of the fourth world so they will have
had to relocate, yes elves founded it though it rather diversified,
see an ED expert for more].

As to actually trying to pin down the solution to this one, plenty
folks have tried, failed, see the masses of ED-SR crossover stuff
some of it undersupported so big long arguements only if you have new
info [but do post if you have more info, with supporting
reference Much preffered] please a big thread on this will annoy some
folks.

Not true. We have the Duchy of Pomorya (or something like that) in the
germany sourcebook. of course these don't seem the "immortal, always
scheming" elves like the others. They just want to clean the sea.

If you mean the Queen of the Seelie Court, Brane Deigh, you'd be
correct. She's more of the "spiritual leader" than the ruler of the
country... though, often times that difference is more academic than
anything else...

> Unknown1 = ? [The unknown eavesdropping decker]

The two are using otaku lingo that you can find in VR 2.0. I doubt it's
Lofwyr, because he'd probably have little concern for that... However,
speaking of Otaku and the Great Dragons, Hestaby in CalFree State is
rumored to have some connections with the "Spirits of the Machine". =)

The current rumor I've heard regarding this one is that it's Leo from
Black madona... I haven't read the book... that's just the concensus I
think they reached on rec.games.frp.cyber. Leo is also known as Leonardo
da Vinci. =)

There will be another Elven Nation in the Australian Sourcebook, it will
go by the name 'Tir Millae' or something like that. For those of you who
know Australia, it will be positioned on the Northern tip of Cape York
Peninsula

I read the book a few weeks before Atzlan. It does make sense, and I think he

I don't know when it's due sorry. The guy that's writing it though
published his ideas in a magazine called 'Australian Realms' before FASA
got him to write the sourcebook. He's finished he's side, now it's just
up to FASA.

Ah we have two different things here. Possibly overfast answering
of posts, don't know if i managed that or you, maybe misunderstanding.

The two human mages talking that captian chaos mentions are from
Cybertchnology the debate on cybermancy etc. I really mean etc,
things such as the 'astral pollution' in Atzlan and what really
happen to Thera/Atlantis at the end of the fourth world are also in
that conversation.

while the unknown 1&2 are presumably the guys from Atzlan - these are
not the same folks. We have no direct leads on thier ID's but the
Otaku lingo lead might be worth chasing.

Hope that clears things up
