Hey all,

Gurth asked me to quote where I found the aura projection reference. I sent
an earlier reply which didn't seem to make it.

See page 149 (bottom right column) of SR2 Core Rules. It describes the aura
as projecting beyond the body surface (I think that we used 6" just to tie
it down). The rules said it had to work that way, else you couldn't target
fully armored characters with certain spells.

I certainly didn't see it (hope this post does make it...). Probably in a
few weeks' time it'll turn up.

I was referring specifically to the six inches, not to where it says the
aura extends outside of clothing. The reason I asked, BTW, is because I
can't remember _ever_ reading any hard rules for the distance an aura
extends from the body, and also because SR books don't give such distances
in inches (too bad the fictional sections have started doing so over the
last couple of years...).
