What is the use for the aura reading skill besides being a complementary
skill for asensing tests? is that itīs only use? Quite a useless skill if
that is so.

It might seem that way, but it is quite useful to get more successes on
the Assensing Table (SR3, p. 172) than you normally would. This in turn
gives you more information than you'd get otherwise.

By taking it at a level equal to or less than your Intelligence, you save
some skill points to buy it, while still effectively adding 50% to your
Intelligence for tests to read auras.

I was wondering if they maybe made a mistake with that. In SR2, assensing
was done by Intelligence, and in the grimoire you got the special skill
aura reading or something like that.
Now that it is a "basic" skill in SR3, it seems more logical to me that you
have to use the skill to assense. A possibility would be to _default_ to
Intelligence, but with the +4 TM. At least, that's how I'm gonna use it.
