Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can aim if you're
defaulting. You can only aim up to half of your skill in a weapon if I
read things right. And if Joe is spending two actions aiming, isn't he
aiming over multiple combat phases - in which case he won't be able to use
any combat pool in his shot.
