Not written into the rules, but you can make your own spells to do it. Illusion
spells could be designed to counteract some detection spells while mental
manipulations could mask others.

As an idea, imagine a telepathic manipulation spell that moves some surface
thoughts deeper into the mind to avoid spells like detect enemies and analyze
truth.
