For those who are interested

The book "Burning Water" by Mercedes Lackey gives very good background
on South American magic and culture. And it does mention the prophecy.

'stuff', I also reccommend 'Aztec Century' By Christopher Evans (I Think).

I'm only half-way through it, and it's OK, but there are a lot of Aztec names
for your AZT guards and execs, and quite a few interesting words and phrases,
for you to steal and throw into games as meaningless colour.

ah..guys it's a good book but if you read her (was it foreward or at the
end??) it's mostly 'made-up.' Sure there are some 'facts' but it would be
like basing Christianity on the Omen movies. Sure a lot of it's true, like
the conflict betwen the gods, but not some of the other stuff. It's based
on some fact, not all fact, try a mythology book which will explain a lot
'more' about there beliefs and culture.

also please oh please oh please, DON't consider the main charachter as the
norm for Neo-Pagans. It ain't true, we don't get off on headtrips like
that. It's a good story, but it's just that. Remeber it's a peice of FICTION.
