: The CZ is official "open" again ... but we know that a lot of things are
:probably still either lurking or worse, sleeping, through all of this.
What
:kind of "renovations" have you made in your games? In ours, the John
Hancock
:building was reclaimed by the Hancock Financial Network, and has been in
the
:process of refurbishing/renovating the tower, as well as rebuilding the
upper
:floors (the ones that were destroyed by the Navy when the wasp nest was
found
:there).
Hey, that's where I LIVED, damn you! :)
Not me, Sebastian- but Mongoose the PC lived in the Hancock. Security
was pretty good, since the building was controlled by a crime syndicate,
with only certain people even given access to the elevators. And you
thought the gangs had fun now-days "converting" floors of Cabrini Green.
I even went up to the top once, just to see how much of the city you
could take out with an assault cannon- not much, at least not anything that
wasn't already part of the noose. Missiles, rockets, etc would be another
story, but there's still a not a good LOS to most surface streets- although
anybody in a big parking lot was fair game. Of course, the same LOS applies
in reverse- I'm not sure what the syndicate would do to protect themselves
from that, but it made for a nifty story, anyhow.
