I just read on rec.games.frp.cyber that Nigel Findley died of a heart attack
last Sunday in Vancouver.

Major bummer. :(

Yah, I read that too... *sigh* Really sucks, doesn't it. :(

I also heard that Dark Forces will be out by the end of next weeks, so
it's looking like a Dark Forces spring break. *Heh*.

hey guys, bad news for ya. I got a message from Barbie saying she's
been in the hospital since Monday the 18th.....she wasn't too clear
on WHY she's there, she just said she 'collapsed', so I assume that
either her knees gave out on her or the fever that she's been
fighting for the past month turned serious.

She said she doesn't expect to be back online for up to two weeks,
possibly longer.

What on earth happened? Wow, I had heard of something going on with her
knees, but none of the stories were clear. Please keep me informed, and if
you have any way of getting a message to her, let her know I wish her the
best.

Is there any way we could find out which hospital Barbi is in? Or do we want
to make up another email card again? And I'm volunteering for this task if
everyone wants me to.

Not that I know of, but she's in Kiel, Germany if that helps

If so, PLEASE do it off-list. The Mulvihill e-card was almost bad
enough.

Hello. I would like to call your attention to the part where Airwasp
indicates that people should "Send [him] something PRIVATE" (emphasis
added) if they want in on the e-card for Barbi.

You sent this TO THE WHOLE LIST. Thus, I must asume that you have a
unique and singular definition of the concept of private e-mail. This
definition is in conflict with the generally accpeted definition.

In other words:

If ANYONE else sends their E-Card to Barbie 'me toos' to the list
instead of airwasp@***.com, I will publicly thwap them too, even if
they do include a smiley like D.Ghost did.

Does this mean I can THWAP you? He apologised already for sending to
the list, saying he *MEANT* it to be private....
