AWW, NO! I've been holding off the Magic addiction so far, but if these come
out then I dunno if I'll be able to withsatnd it any longer...

[Visions of collectable trading card induced impoverishment and destitution
flash through my mind.]

I know! I'll have to get my friends addicted first, then I can use their
cards like I do for Magic. Yeah, that'll work. <evil grin, mixed with a sigh
of relief>.

Hi everyone,

I am sorry to ask the ShadowRN mailinglist about BT but I just came back
from someone who went to GenCon and he told me that FanPro did buy BT.
Not only the license but anything besides BT Omega.

After searching the web (nothing found how unusual for FanPro and
Whizkids/FASA) I am still confused. Is that info true?

Thanks Tommy

Ok, I haven't had the time or the energy to do a true GC report, but here's what i can
tell you :]

http://www.slcomnet.org/static.html

Ok, that's not what *I* can tell you, but what Jordan, Mike Stackpole, and Randall Bills
can tell you :]

Beyond that, there's little information. BT: Phoenix Rising (I believe the ClickyTech
mini's game name) may be out at GC 2002. I wouldn't expect it any earlier, and it may be
out later than that.

The Original BT stuff will be getting continued to a smaller degree by Fan Pro, though
there's NO information on that yet, beyond they WILL be doing something at some point.

Hi Bull,

that was fast! Thanks a lot! I know that article but seem to have missed
the part about BT and FanPro.

Hehe, I'm at work and bored and avoiding actually doing any work :]

Anyways, I was working the FanPro booth a bit this year at GC, so I got a
"little" first hand info (And I do mean Little), plus this has been a topic of
debate for a couple days now on the DS Forums:
http://forums.dumpshock.com//Forum14/HTML/001205.html

Anyways, enjoy...

Here's the official WizKids Battletech site, on the off chance no one's
actually mentioned it.

Enjoy.
