Dear List:

My condolences go out to those who are grieving, waiting, and who have
lost some one. FYI there is an underground forming to protect innocent
Muslim American citizens should it become necessary

On to the question at hand:

I am about to run a scenario in the Bermuda Triangle as a one on one for
the party's rigger. What has been going on in the triangle? Can you
give me any encounter suggestions to flesh the run out? He will be
carrying a ritual team that will be invoking a complex spell harnessing
the energies of the triangle. The rigger is magically active (awaked
late, after 'ware was already installed).

Character name at present, Amazon Bomb

There was some stuff on the bermuda triangle in one of the adventure sets...
predator and prey I beleive it was... just a couple of little things that
could happen if the GM wanted.

I'd look it up, but I gotta leave for work shortly.

Cyberpirates has a small section on the Bermuda Tri.
Actually it's a mention. I think they say it's got a background count of
like 2,3, or 4.
The Gingerbread gang just uses the superstition surrounding it along with a
few illusion spells.

I don't know about any of the published material on the Bermuda
Triangle, but if you want to have fun, make it have a rift at the center
that makes ALL characters shift into the astral plane. No more meat
bods until they leave the same way they came. You probably want to
ignore the rules for extended time in astral space for this one, or at
least make them more lenient. This could play out pretty cool because
no cyber ware, or bioware for that matter. Make 'em squirm a little. :)

BTW, I extend my deepest grief for all involved in the WTC attack. I'm
still in shock. I live close enough to NYC that word is some victims
may end up in hospitals nearby where I live.

If you can wait until October, TARGET: AWAKENED LANDS has some stuff on the
Triangle, as well as information on astral rifts and other nasty things to
do to characters.
