Pebbles. She was a late-teenage Elf in a Flintstone poser-gang, which
decimated itself against The Archies when the players were forced to choose
which Betty was more "Betty". For some reason the one group really liked
Pebbles so she was developed under the old 1st ed rules. She had been a
member of 8 gangs, all of them ill-fated and the only major one was the
Silent P's. Whenever she got money she spent it trying to get connections in
the latest, coolest gang so she could join (the campaign folded before she
got to put much stock in the Ancients, though she was trying to help the
Elven communities around Denny Park to gain their attention). A joiner and a
follower, she made a perfect NPC companion to the one player's
eco-terrorist, but he never even tried to get her to join his cell. Her
name, personality, and appearance changed to fit whatever gang she happened
to be in, but she always kept her naturally red hair. I think the players
paid for her cyberware.

So while we're on NPCs does anyone have a gang? I always need gangs. I think
my favorite name for one was "The Godawful Lemmings". Needless to say they
didn't last two sessions.

Despite its proven stress-relieving effect, I will not indulge
