One easy way to deal with the problem of increased consumption's
effect on lifestyle is to use the "guest" rules for lifestyle costs. That
is, pay an extra 10% of your lifestyle costs, reflecting the extra food
you need to buy to feed your guest. Granted, some of that 10% would go to
extra power/water consumption, but it's a pretty good baseline.
Hence, if you have a SuperThyroid Gland and Symbiotes, you are
effectively eating for three. This translates to having two "guests,"
which increases your lifestyle costs by an additional 20% above base.
Simple, easy, already in the rules.
