I'm curious about something. This is something that came up in my
Psychoology class tonight and something that was mentioned here coupple
of days ago.

What is the death rate in 2055?
What's the birth rate?
What kind of population growth (+ or -) is being experienced?

I'm kind of curious. Call me the Matrix's Social Psychologist, if you
will... (Prefer not though... 8P )

Thanks!

Well maybe I can help shed some light on this matter. I would tend to see
that the birth rate would be higher than the death rate as far as the world
is concerned. There are many problems with trying to answer this question,
for example, humans? the Tir? the burbs?...who and where affects the
death rates mainly....and if you live by the sword(most sammies) you die
by that self same sword. The people who live in the shadows die quite often.
On the other hand those that live in protected environments don't...this
would be in the Arc...or in the Tir. So since the death rate in deadly
environments is higher, and the birth rate in safe environments is high,
overall I would say that the safe areas are larger than the deadly ones;
this in conjunction with the fact that with the people dying in the deadly
zones...won't be reproducing.
