Well first of all

I'm BACK!!!!!!!

"Quick Lister, break out LuLu and find me the puncture repair kit, Rimmer is
back in business!!!!"

Now to the somewhat more serious side of things

Lone Star - I liked it, it was fairly well written and gave a good look at
Lone Star. Also, I REALLY liked the DPI special Op's Mages - their
very nasty.

Fields of Fire - Is there any clarification on the SmartLink II system?

Denver - Nigel did a NICE job on this, very reminiscent of his job on Tir
Tairngira, especially the amount of unanswered questions and small hints.

One thing I was very depressed about was a Sysop from the Data Haven, Namely the
one called SPIRIT!!! Also the fact that many times "In the Matrix" is tag on
after her name. For those who don't already know this is VERY similar to my
ShadowTk character SPIRIT who has the tag "Of the Matrix". Though there are
great similarities in the Two - I doubt that Nigel has heard of my Character.

Any way, it was a great set, I liked the triple option sections in the GM's
guide. Did anyone read the part about the Talismonger Shop which had a Black
figure holding a Pink Gem - BOTTLED DEMON. What I want to know is if the
AXE that was mentioned before it has shown up in any adventures.

How soon till Harlequin's Back?

Nightfox

Now for the native view on Denver:

I'm from Boulder, actually, and any native can tell you that, while the
sourcebook was well written, there are a few problems with it. A lot of the
Denver slang is missing, like locations(LoDo for Lower Downtown, for
example). I can totally understand the really mutant sector divisions, but
my biggest peeve is the bulldozing of the state capitol. I'm sorry, but that
building is(to my admittedly biased POV) is a half step below the Capitol
Building in DC in raw beauty. It has rose marble inside it that is only
found in 1 quarry in the world, and 95% of the marble in the quarry is in
the capitol. The dome is covered in gold plate. There is NO WAY that it
would have been bulldozed.

I was a little surprised that they told everyone where the Nexus is, but
that's neither here nor there. And I'll admit that I am still a little
disappointed that Findley didn't cover the outlying areas(specifically,
Boulder) a little more. If you'll notice from the maps, 95% of his
writing covers a 10 mile radius circle from Downtown(between Colfax, Speer,
16th street, etc.). While this allows GMs tremendous freedom to play, it
ignores a lot of territory in an area roughly 3 times the size of Seattle and
with(according to rough population estimates) over a million more inhabitants.

I'm sure I'll find more problems, but that's enough for now. If you want
more details for your own campaigns, just ask.

Brian
