Okay, so what we have now is the following:

Boltgun-
Fires a specialized 'Bolt' ammo...no further details, yet.

Bolt Ammunition-
Combination of Explosive, Flechette and APDS ammunition. +1 Power and Damage level,
and half the ballistic armor as per APDS.

Anyone want to take on the actual stats of the gun? I am thinking assault rifle
type, clip of 24-30 and restricted to using Bolt ammo. _IF_ I allow the players to
obtain it, what do people think should be an appropriate Avail/Street Index? Price?
I agree that they should all be _up_ there... a lot. How about the ammuntion.
Obviously the bolt ammo could only be fired from a boltgun, unless another gun was
heavily modified to fire it, but then it couldn't fire other types of ammunition.

Someone mentioned the Shuriken weapons...any ideas?

Zebulin

The ammo count is in keeping with the third edition fluff on boltgun
magazine types, specifically the sickle type. There's also the option
for a 40-60 round drum. :)

Since it was talk of WH40k Assassins that started this thread, do any
of you 40k players out there have any thoughts on the Venenum Temple
of the Officio Assassinorum? Either published fluff other than what
was given in the 2nd or 3rd edition Assassins Codices, or your own
ideas on the matter would be fine. Also if you know anything about
the Vanus Temple, I'm mildly interested in that too.

(Please reply PRIVATELY about the 40k assassin stuff, as we don't
need to bore the list with it.)

How about Fleccette/APDS.

not the pin." Spoken soon after telling a _really_ stupid

Given that SR tech is lower, the best they could make would be bolt
shells for shotguns, rather like the Outlanders in Necromunda. No need for
a new gun type (though you'd want to add 50% or so to all ranges). And have
them blow up at least as often...
Ok, so that's an artificial seeming restriction, but if you are doing
ports, why not do them faithfully? ;)
