As long as we're talking about the munchkin gun (which, IMHO, is highly
impractical and implausible-but otherwise over-the-top:), I thought I'd post
this:

Rev-Wires
A combination of resheathed neurons, cerebral boosters, synaptic
accelerators, and muscular augmentation to take the user's speed to insanely
high levels. Not compatible with Boosted Relfexes, Wired Reflexes, Synaptic
Accelerators or other Boosterware

Body Index Availability Price Legality Street Index Effect(s)
Level 1 2.4 22/100 days 175000¥ 2 +2QCK, +1INT,
+1RCT, +1INI
Level 2 4 36/200days 350000¥ 4 +3QCK, +2INT,
+2RCT, +2INI
Level 3 6.6 - 560000¥ - +4QCK, +3INT,
+3RCT, +3INI

I came up with this as a Bioware version of Wired Reflexes-it's really more
of a package than anything, though I think that the BI cost is less than the
sum total of the items involved. I see this a pretty munchkin stuff, but I
figure that if the upper level (or all but Level 1, or simply all levels) had
certain drawbacks, like occassional seizures or something...This really isn't
something I plan on letting my player's characters even see:) On the off
chance that they do get a hold of it, somehow, I'd like to get some better
info on the stuff first...so, any comments?

This may be too much to expect from simple bioware. From what I
recall from the books, bioware gives small boosts, but makes up for it by
being Essence friendly to the non-magically inclined. I would think that
with something that provides significant enhancements in four separate
attributes, it would have to involve cyberware.

Peace and Long Life,

Might be. I designed this setup as a combo of several peices of bioware, so
really the separate bits of bioware are providing their bonuses, the listed
effects are simply totaled up items...OTOH, if it's done as a single, unique
item, it could involve multiple changes...I don't know. This is simply the
idea that I came up with. As for being essence-friendly, yeah, I guess, but
the Body Index is high enough to limit the number of folks who could use
it...It really needs some serious work before I do too much with it, though.
Anyone care to lend a hand?

The idea is to create a version of Wired Reflexes in Bioware, with comparable
Effects and Costs. I did it the way I did it originally to provide the same
basic Effects to Reaction and Initiative...Anyone have any ideas?
