Yes I see how matrix work gets boring. Lots of solutions have been suggested
in the past and lots will be suggested in the future, but none of the solutions
can defer from the fact that there iss very little role playing to be done in
the matrix, only roll-playing. The few occasions that exist are interaction
between other deckers and interactions with sculpted systems.

Personally I'm waiting for someone to bring out a matrix game for the PC where
the GM can set up matrices before the game and load the stats of the decker`s
deck. When the decker decided to go and check system X the GM says fine just
load file XXX and start playing. The decker sits in the corner quite happily
while the other players get on with real job.

Been there, done that... I wrote a program in Pascal<ooh, yeah!> that did
exactly what you ask. Unfortunately, since it was written on our mainframes,
there was no graphics capabilities. <bummer!> Got an A in that class.
The program used the exact rules from VR, and accounted for all types of
programs. I may write another version of it.

Hi Warlock,
I'm very interested in your program. could you send me a copy of the source

and add some graphics ).
