No i have queried on this one. I have only seen one guess i did not
throw right out (off rec.games.frp.cyber) i think. This was that a
locus is the 'pattern point for a country', a place where you can
access the pattern of a whole country. Now i have not read certain
vital parts of the ED rules (the GM bans the ED Companion) but know
enough that if sucha thing were possible it would be very very
powerful, yes it might explain how ' the cat (hectate?) - forgot his
name' can carry out minor rituals without Ghost dance type problems
(ie bridges popping up).
This if true makes the idea of a 'broken' Locus point very worrying,
there is an ED adventure called 'Shattered Pattern', no you don't
want to find out the hard way!!!, our characters are still alive, but
i could find a use for a spare Death star, Borg ship etc. (assuming
the targets vulnerable)
