Well, as had been pointed out before, what would runners do with it?
Maybe if it detailed Mercenaries, the Desert Wars, pointing out where a
runner might run into military opposition, then it would fly. But a
sourcebook on the world's armies is of limited usefulness.

I am not that foolish, Rich, no matter how it might seem.:P Desert Wars I would
DEFINITELY recommend be a part of it, but I could also see new gear, such as
further comms gear and perhaps specialized weaponry (with an availability of at
LEAST 10, thanks.). Mercs have been detailed in FoF, if I remember, but more on
them would be useful. However, detailing at LEAST the UCAS army is becoming
necessary, especially since, well....things have been whispered about it since SR2,
AFAIK. More with NAGNA, and more in other areas...Essentially, if, as Jon Szeto
noted elsewhere, military politics is becoming a story arc.....Ya may want to
detail the entirety of the beast, or at least a good bit of it.

If you're running a pirate campaign, then naval forces and their marine
arms are pretty handy to know.

If you're running into the Yucatan, or across the CAS-Aztlan border, then
knowing the military balance between those two states could be pretty
handy. Same for CalFree, Japan and Aztlan - there's a nice three-way
lineup. And Denver...

Some people ignore the military, others make heavy use of them.
