Oh yes - I STARTED that debate about 'Run Hard, Die Fast'.

But IMNSHO, that was one of the shoddiest editing and writing efforts of
any of the Shadowrun novels.

Also, the book I refer to was the fifth one written. You would think
that, by now, someone would have addressed the problems in it - if they
were problems. For instance, everyone knows that the troll in Nosferatu
whose essence apparently regenerated when he was possessed by a big-ass
spirit (which also entailed rejecting all his cyber) is a one-off thing
- it'll never happen to your players. But I haven't heard anyone
official say this was wrong.

Which is not to say that it isn't. But, no offense guys, I tend to trust
Chris Kubasik's writing over a non-existent denial in the books or your
arguments. :)

So let's settle this once and for all, shall we? Steve, Jak, Jon Szeto,
Anders Swenson, K, even - anyone who's 'in the loop' - can you confirm,
deny or find out whether or not any elves or dwarves did 'express'?

*Doc' was having fun here, but doesn't really want to look any stupider

Ah, I see good sirah, tis war then is it? (lots of trumpets blaring (*badly*)
and the sounds of many "men-at-arms" gathering their arms (they were rejects
from the Monty Python shows) so as to be sent (remember, no legs! ;) off to
war)
