Someone was talkin' about drones.
]We hit a problem in yesterday's game of Shadowrun, when our rigger attempted to
]buzz a castle with his `recon' drone.

If you're talking about the 'not-quite-recon' drone, that might explain
it. Of all the "recon drones", the only one worth it's weight in piss
is the Condor LDSD-23. It has a natural 10 sig, which works out well.
Most of the combat drones can upgrade to a 4 or 5 sig, which is better, but
not by much. Then there's the Dalmation, which supposedly can get a 6
or 7, in stealth mode (read the s-talk). Finally, the Wandjina "I feel
dirty just saying it" RPV has a 4/_8_ sig! Personally, for RECON work,
use something useful like the Condor. OR, if you have a decent B/R
skill, build one that has a higher sig. I made some drones that had 8+
sigs. 'Course, they look like birds, but I figure that's urban
camoflauge. Another option is to take your alternate vehicle, and rig it so
you can use it remotely. And it probably has better sig, firepower, etc.

It would be the bird's sig, modded by whatever you're usin as ECM. Remember,
though, chummers and chummettes, that ECM brings up a LARGE field that's easy
to detect, especially if you know what you're looking for. Optical detection's
a whole nother game entirely. That's going to be off of her size, as opposed
to how much "gunk" she puts into the ether.

True. You have to come up with different methods/drones, however. Buying
something with a higher natural sig, or buying a cheap *whatever*, to going to
a toy store and buying an R/C airplane. Now THAT should work.]<<<<<
