Here is something else I was thinking about. These are good rules for
bleeding, but what about broken bones? Certainly an explosion can
cause broken bones, as well as crashes, falls, and of course combat.
So instead of just rolling for bleeding, how about we come up with a
critical hit table? Using the above rules, if the result comes up,
you then roll on the critical hit table. You could have bleeding and
broken bones on the critical hit table. Hell, you could even
incorporate other things such as trauma, shock, temporary paralysis,
temporary blindness, etc.
Further brainstorming, why not then make called shots an attempt to
get an instant critical hit, instead of the reduce armor/increase
damage rules they use now.
What do you think?
