You might be able to back calculate an addiction rating based on
the material in Mercurial, the adventure, lo these years back.

Just take Maria's willpower, subtract one, and take the number of
exposeures they gave her [which is in the sorayama files somewhere] and
figure out the addiction target number that she had to fail. Since those
were customized for her, they would represent a special case, but you can
generalize from there, and if you want to use tailored BTLs, little
changes would need to be made. Also consider that normal BTLs were much
weaker, so if you get addicted to custom BTLs, you'd need to up the
dosage of normal BTLs to get by without them. Plus, of course, you'd be
addicted to normal BTLs eventually as well.

As to essence damage from the BTLs, that would be hard to figure, because
by the rules (in Shadow Tech) Mercurial would have been long dead, due to
the already large loss of essence from all that cyberwear they've stuck
into her. of course.

Her Willpower is 5.

It took some digging, but that's 20 (2 exposures a day for 10 days, it
says on page 54, middle of the right-hand column).

You've lost me here. Care to explain this in more detail?
