I don't think that was a "what are you talking about" "what?". I
think it was one of those ones where you've just done something
completely outrageous and all your friends are staring at you with
slack jaws and you say with a straight face, "What??"

What motion? Please, quote the post you are replying too.

And heck, as long as I'm being "grumpy", Fro, are new members getting
the FAQ. And if so are you new members reading them?

I'm gonna email Spike privately and tell him to get his but back here :)

You should've read the FAQ 'fore you posted. Didn't you see it when it
hit your mailbox? No offense, this is the kind of thing that makes it
very hard to tell what's going on.

IOW: email works better quote the relevant parts of the message you're
replying to. If you somehow can't do this (like if you have email access
through WebTV), paraphrase it.

Most of the new members are lucky the list.member.grumpy (AKA Spike)

Which looks like you typed rx'd for read. The FAQ is supposed to be sent
out to new subscribers, you don't have to rx anything.

Besides, the general list members don't know what "rx'd" means anyway. I'm
guessing it's a command you use with your mailer.

I think he (and lots of others) got confused by "rx'd" and assumed it
stands for "read". I take it it means "received" instead?

Actually, this is actually one of the reasons I brought that thread up in
the first place. however, despite the detrimental effects it would have on
Bull, I still think that Regeneraters should lose there cyber, despite
whatever "essence loss" might actually mean for the cyberware and the
character.

Incidentally, I asked my friend - who began playing WAY back - what he
thought about the "Arm with spurs gets cut off, does he have spurs when it
regenerates" line of thought. Now, granted, he agrees with me on the Astral
Template bit, but his answer was kinda neat. He's said, "Sure, why not? If
it's part of the template, they'll grow back - but they'll be made of bone
instead."

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
