deciding why IC can be seen. I still think that you can program Blaster
to look like a wall, and nail any decker who either doesn't check or
who fails to successfully analyze it.
As to distance: I know it's an illusion. Why put those select icons there
if I can't get to them? What good is a distorted perspective, especially if,
as other have argued, the VR is meant to allow for an intuituve manipulation
of information? I still do not see a valid reason to put corporate icons in
the field of a persona's vision, let alone give them perspective based on
the relationship of non-spatial points.
