Hi everyone

I'm going on my hols for three weeks, so I'm not going to be around
on the list.

If I screw up when I unsubscribe myself from this list and NERPS
can some kind list administrator remove me? Ta.

It's been jolly good hearing all your ideas and questions
and answers and comments and stories and stuff. I will leave
you with a parting story from a shadowrun game I ran at
EuroGenCon:

The player is exploring a deserted island base he was expecting
to be full of people. They have found a corpse and smashed doors and
electronic equipment. It's all a lot like aliens. He goes into a
room and finds a load of slime:

Me: There's slime all over the door.
Player: I dip my hand in it.
Me: It's cold, your hand is now covered in slime.
Player: Hmmm. I wonder if it's flammable. I try to set fire to the
slime on my hand.

Aren't players wonderful things.
(He was lucky - it was naga slime and not flammable)

See you all in three weeks

GLO

Gurth, one more forward and I promise not to bug you for a long time ;)

I'm off to France for a month of teaching & research. If there are any
shadowrun gamers on the list near Lille, France I'd like to hear from you.
I've unsubscribed from the list till I get back so that my mailbox doesn't
explode [hell, I couldn't post anyway :( ] so if you're close to Lille mail
me at xanth@***.uky.edu , I'd love to drop in on a continental game. Terry

Moving jobs (finally!) and have to shut down this mailing list until I
have my computer at my new residence up and running. Oh well, hopefully
you all won't move on me before I get back!
