I have a curious question.

I notice one time will I playing SRUN that when ever some got hit, they took the
blow and survived or died.

The question is do they ever get knock off their feet from the blow of the
impact.

I first notice this when everybody was wearing full body armor and got hit by
anti-vehicle missile ( o.k. the missile probly can't lock on to a life form, but
just go along). The person survived the hit and keep on firing away at the
enemy.
I would think that the person would be laying on the other side of the room no
matter what race he/she was.

I would like have your input about this.

Shaman Smasher, "It your lucky day, I going to kill you quickly"

P.S. I think a person's body & strength and the weapons/spell force probly will
be the factors involved.

There are quite a few with this system.

Ok. A simple quick hack would be to have the player make a strength test
against the power/force of the attack.

Of course, the GM would have to take into account the position of the player
and modify it accordingly.
e.g. Goliath the troll is standing on a ledge half way up a cliff when someone
on the ledge takes a pot shot at him. I would probably have him make a
strength test at -2 mod. because of his precarious position.
Also, I would also make the firer do the same test but at -2 if he hit Goliath,
or -4 if he didn't (due to the uncontrollable nature of an autofire weapon).

This should encourage the player not to harass my poor troll NPC, but I
digress. This should work in most situations but I must admit that my
players seldom get into firefights with hefty weapons like that (they prefer
to sneak around the place).

Ditto on the input.

PS: Just got the Rigger's Black Book. It's pretty good but the price is
a bit hefty.

I recently posted da subject about being knock down. Dis got me dinking...
(oh no, a troll dinks! What is the fragging world coming to!)

You are fighting the impact of da bullet(s)/spell blast to keep standing. So we
will
use the force of da weapon.
Your built mainly determines if you keep standing. We will use the character's
body.
Da problems now are the different force impact levels(light, moderate, serious,&
deadly)
and body armor(which are for slowing down a bullet, if not stopping it).

Here is my suggestion;
First you learn the damage level of the bullet AFTER THE DECREASE FROM ARMOR,
but
you don't include the effect of body.
Den you figure out the target number by these next rules:
T# for light=(weapon's/spell force)-(weapon's/spell staging) with a MIN of 2
T# for moderate=(weapon's/spell force)
T# for serious=(weapon's/spell force)+(weapon's/spell staging)
T# for deadly=(weapon's/spell force)+[2*(weapon's/spell staging)]
The character would get use their FULL BODY every time.
For more dan one hit for auto & semi-auto weapons, I use da rule dat for each
hit
after da first the force level increases by one.
Ex. A razorboy hits a with machine pistol(4m2) on a mage on the 1st,2nd,& 5th
shot. Da
mage would save at force 4 on the 1st hit, 5 on the 2nd, & 6 on the 5th shot.

Let me give a full example:
A ork hits a merc wid his SMG(4m3) wid all his shots except the last two(ork
fired seven shots). Da merc is wearing armored of ballistic 2 and da damages
after
armor are deadly, moderate, serious, light, & light. Da merc has to save at T#'s
10, 4, 7, 2, & 2. Remember da character gets to use deir full body every time.

Dere da last rule don't worry about character's getting knock down.

I would appreciate any other suggestions to dere suggested ideas.

Shaman Smasher, "I am still hunting for those terrorists dat murdered my
elders"

P.S. I dank the dree people dat responded and help me create dese suggested
rules,
you dree deserve as much credit as I do.
