More importanly, the line reads "Form fitting armor can be worn with
other armor but does not affect a character when calculaing penalties for
CP"

so, if my gnome otaku wears form-fitting-3 (4/1) which excede's his
quickness of 1, does that mean I don't lose any combat pool?
(remember, when layering, the additional penalty is the quickness-based
penalty, not the CP reduction, the CP reduction is based on the armor
itself)

While it may seem to be reading into things, the nature of the suit
(custom fit) makes sense to me...

You would think so, but the wording disagrees. You
forgot the "when layering armour" part at the start of
the quoted sentence. According to the wording, you can
lose CP dice for wearing form-fitting armour if it's
not layered with other armour. :)

well, thats what I'm sayinbg, it never says "when layering armor"
It says it can be layered
"Form fitting armor can be worn with other armor but does not affect a
character when calculaing penalties for CP"

seems kind of silly to throw more armor over the Form Fitting in order to
get rid of the CP penalty :-)
not that it matters, I have a combat pool of 10 dice, and a skill of 1...
