Ok, here's my question. When infiltrating a Closed Circuit Simsense System,
must the rigger be on-site? In other words, assuming he had someone to make
the dataline tap, and a way of transmitting the datafeed to his RD for the
rigger protocol emulation and decryption, could he use the broadcast to
break in?

My feeling is yes, and in fact, I designed a drone to do just that. I
personally think sending in a drone to make the connection makes a lot more
sense than doing it in person; after all, why get shot when a lump of metal
can take the hit for you? Actually, the drone below is designed for remote
CCSS diagnostics (which the Rigger Protocol Emulation was originally
designed for, according to the Corp Security Handbook:). Here it is (if you
recognize it, I apologize for posting it again, but I figgered that four
days without a comment must've meant nobody noticed it for whatever reason.
Besides, I checked my math since then, and also changed some things:)

Game Effects:

The CCSS Interface Package requires an open electronics port for
installation. When installed into a drone or vehicle, the retrans unit is
listed as a separate subscriber on the rigger's RC deck. When jumped into
the retrans unit (while the unit is connected to a CCSS network of course:)
the rigger effectively "assumes the body," unless there is another rigger
present in the system, in which case rigger combat ensues. While jumped
into a CCSS system in this manner, he can actively control a number of
devices/drones equal to the rating of the retrans unit. When breaking into
a CCSS system with this package, any RPEMs and RDMs installed in the RC
deck itself cannot be used. Installation of this unit at design
automatically makes the vehicle security grade.

**If you break them down, these numbers look kinda funny, but that's
because they were calculated using my "Mass-Produced Vehicle Design Rules,"
which are detailed in a separate post of the same name (as this post is
long enough:)

So, whaddya think? Is this kind of tech possible or am I out of my gourd?
