I asked this quesiton a few weeks ago, and here's what I learned.

1) Don't bother if you don't have a postscript capable printer, which are
pretty damn expensive.
2) You need a program that can view or print PS files. Ghostscript was
reccommended, so I downloaded it. For me, it was a friggen nightmare to
set up and use (which I never accomplished).
3) If you're really hard up, just get the PS file and take it down to
your local print or copy shop and let them worry about how to print it.
They should have the equipment to print them.

Got out on the street, and remember your panther. Shoot the nearest and ugliest
person, and then steal the credstick from the remaining ashes. Make sure you
mother won't find you what you just did, or she'll come after you in a banshee.

Now go and buy yourself a nice postscript printer with ya new credstick.

OK - I wouldn't recommend it, but it would be fun to watch *grin*

Sorry, but I haven't found any decent postscript viewers on PC, and the best advice
I got so far was to find someone with a postscript printer, or buy one myself.

Hey, that might just be the best bit of advice I've seen on PS... Now all I
need to do is find a place where they've got a PS printer :)

I don not know if this works but since I've been buying several of
the "Classic" CD roms like Syndicate Plus and others they contain
the Manuals in Post script Format. In order to read them the
included a dos program called ACROBAT. It appears to read postscript
files from the CD rom and display them properly (doesn't print unless you
do have a postscript Printer BTW) But at least you can view the
things. I'll try and see if it works with NAGEE tonight.

I hate Postscript files! But they _are_ almost universal (worse luck). I
suggest getting ahold of a program called PageDraw. It doesn't directly read
Postscript files, but it does allow you to view and edit them (in a
roundabout fasion). The good thing, however, is that the author also
includes _complete_ instructions on what you need to do to get it, and what
you'll have to do to get Ghostscript as well (Ghostscript is required to
convert Postscript files to a format readable by PageDraw). Also you get
instructions on how to install the thing. I haven't worked through it all
myself, so I can't guarantee it all works properly, but the instructions are
easy for even a complete airhead to follow. To get the instructions and
program, send mail to:

rajeev@******.com

Politely requesting a copy of PageDraw (yes, the author does send out
uuencoded copies, and also sends out instructions on how to uudecode them
and/or how to get uudecode to do so).

Or you could ftp it from:

/pub/pc/win3/desktop on ftp.cica.indiana.edu

I got it sent to me (the ftp site was in the info I also got sent), but I
assume the help/info file is on the ftp site too.

One day when I've got time I'll ftp the rest of Ghostscript (there's rather
a lot of it, size wise, required to make it go), and then I too shall be
able to look at my Postscript files (hopefully).
