Anyone have a any clue what kind of damage a chain would do? Not a little
rinky dink chain but that big thick stuff mechanics use to pull engines out
of cars. Would I also use the whip snare rules if the person using it
wanted to try and wrap it around the persons legs?

According to Ed, at 11:22 on 16 Dec 98, the word on
the street was...

In SR3, the sprawl ganger has Whips skill with a specialization on Chains,
and if you look at the "character sheet" (for want of a better word) in
the back of the book, a heavy chain has been given a Damage Code of (Str)L
Stun with +2 Reach.

Which, IMHO, is much too light. (Str)M Stun at least, I feel. (Oh, and to
avoid discussions about my choice for Stun damage: a club does Stun, so
that's what I based this on.)

Hey...looky there! I forgot about the minisheets in the back. Cool.
Thank you Sir Gurth! I have changed it to (STR)M because I too think Light
damage is not enough for a heavy chain.

Why not consider it (STR)M for larger chains, and (STR)L for smaller chains

Hey, that reminds me. Exactly how much would Chains cost anyway? How
about cue balls?
