Actually I did allow a few (I believe 4) of the 17 or 18 characters =
involved to survive that's right there were 17 to 18 characters involved =
in the run. There were 15 players. The forces that were going to be =
arrayed against them hmmm how hard did the U.S. look to find out who was =
behind the Ok. City bombing and that's just the Ute's not to mention the =
magical resources they posess of which there is no paraliel to be had in =
the 1990's. The 4 who were allowed to survive were the subtle ones, no =
cyber, could pass for normal people. The rest had an average essence under =
1 or were mages/shamans with all combat spells. Also the players whose =
characters died were not very good players (they were constantly trying to =
out munchkin each other) and frankly I was trying to scare some of them =
off (it worked a little 4 of the worst offenders quit after that). But =
what could they give to anybody to get them off the hook, the code they =
stole doubtful, no one could use it without being instantly blamed for =
being behind this terrorist attack which killed about 250 innocent =
civilians, not to mention about 50 cops/security guards.
By the way I did describe how most of them died. I just looked at the =
characters stats and the way they were played and decided what would =
happen to them Most of them would be cought by bounty hunters either =
magical or mundane and yes there was ritual link material to most of them =
as most of them were wounded at the bombing site there would have been =
plenty of blood near the entrance to their vehicles and in their vehicles =
to get samples of ( they smartly dumped the vehicles a few miles away )
