I have an idea for a character that has the ability to influence animals.
I was wondering if this character could have a special power, or be able to
cast only an influence animals spell of some type (maybe a single spell
adept).
Any thoughts?

Yes, several actually. I made this kind of magic type guy who does
exactly this kind of stuff. I have all the rules and stuff done, but the
background/story isn't done yet. As soon as I have it formatted to the
game world sourcebook kind of thing, liek Awakenings, I'll put it up on
my web page. I'm also going to submit it to Shadowland magazine for
possible publication there.

Yep...

NAGEE4 (Neo-Anarchists Guide to Everything Else Volume 4) has rules for The
Beastmaster. If you have WWW acess you can find NAGEE 1 thru 6 on Paolo's
Shadowrun Archive...
