How serious is a deadly wound actually.

The rules say you need to hospitalized for max 30 days before you are at
serious wouynd level, then you must see how fast the docs can get you to
moderate owund level, that's another max 20 days.

But in those first 30 days one still has a deadly wound , in other words
if the patient is removed from the hospital, i Guess he dies because the
damage overflow meter will sdtart running again , especially if there is
no medic present. So if you take any other action expect staying hooked
onto you lifesupport machinery, you will start dying , aside from being
completly unconscious, right?

And I am sur the injury modifiers do count when your decking, but how do
they affect things like ettiquete skills, can he use his matrix
ettiquette when he is seriously hurt and have no modifiers to his
targetnumber ?

And another one, decking does require the use of you hands doesn't it,
except when your using a cranial cyberdeck, in which case you also get
the reaction bonus for pur vcybernetic decking. Otherwise you're still
punching keys.

But if they couyld pump him up with painkillers, he could be usefull

Just one box under deadly, jam him full of morphine and he's up and
going, right ?
Just take care he doesn't get any wounds or it's back to intensive care
again.

30 days at max? Why, what do you do when the doctor, or the player in
question doesn't reach the target number for treatment of a Deadly wound?
Put him in the hospital for 30 days, or let him roll again, and add 30
days, until he gets the roll right. I prefer the latter, 'coz it's
heavenly to see the look on their faces. My mage once had to stay in the
hospital for 9 (nine!) months before he got healed from a deadly. Oh, and
think of the money he lost :)
Anyway, I think the system I prefer is the most realistic as well.
