Anything above character number 127 is not ASCII, and ISO-8859 leaves
numbers 128-159 (I think) empty, starting again at 160 with a non-breaking
space. Microsoft has basically taken the 8859 specs and added more stuff in
that 128-159 gap to create the Windows character set. As a result, on my
computer running X Windows as a GUI, I only get question marks or blanks
for those characters.
