Tell them to bring lots of bug repellent...or radiation suits,
depending on the timeframe.

Ugh. Chicago. There's some major survivalist, do-or-die training
for you. We went in on a little "mission" to deliver some foci to the
magickers holed up in that little enclave. Unfortunately, our ride out got
screwed up, and we got to spend several weeks trying to survive. Luckily
nobody died, but the entire team was limping by the time we left, not to
mention the financial losses due to damaged or destroyed equipment,
weapons, and cyberware. We managed to still make a profit, though, after
we lifted some nifty prototypes from an abandoned (unfortunately, just by
the workers, not by the bugs <shudder>) lab. Can't say that I'd be eager
to try going that route again.

Chicago... I love Chicago...

It's a walk in the park, when you know the right people...

Make friends, it works wonders... Especially when those friends are the
"hives" of Mantids (I know they aren't hives, but what else do you call a
large group of them? Swarms??), and the Ghoul community...:)

Right Johnny??

Sure you make friends in Chicago, but also knowing when to fight and
when to run also keeps you breathing. Flesh forms easy, spirit forms up
to level eight not bad, but level 30 queens you need to drop a building on.
Right Bull. Bull? Every time Bugs come up he runs off.

It is also rumored to be amongst the most "haunted" of all cities in North
America, especially given it's size and scale.

Catually you wanna know something wierd? I read an artical the other day in a magazine at
the library,(and i'll be damned if I haven't forgotten the name of it) and chicago is the
USA's 3rd most occult activated city. The other two, strangly enough, are my little Town
in Michagan and another town called Owosso Michagan are the top ranking, It said because
of the deaths associated with the railway system and all the mills that used to be aroud
here had claimed more lives than the mobsters in chicago. If you thought your hometown was
sppoky come on over to mine, you ain't seen nothing yet!hehe
