Do you want a rules-estimation? I don't think the rules cover it.

What i'd say is that it was some god-awful riual, possibly involving the
'sacrifice' of a few human captives.... if you favour the
Earthdawn/Shadowrun crossover theme (which i do), then blood magic
certainly suffices in power. Just witness the Great Ghost Dance; it had
enough power to blow the tops off mountains.

Scary thought; Bugs having their own version of the Ghost Dance.
