For background information on Chi with cyberpunk trimmings. You might try
Iron Crown's Chicago Arcology book, which was published as a sourcebook
for their proprietary c-punk game. I'm using it as source material for my
GURPS Cyberpunk game, which is basically an adaptation of the background
presented in the IC game.

The book details the following:
Corporate structure, purvey, life, and history of New Edison, a
truly villainous corporation (think Nazis/Stormtroopers)

New Edison Arcology and associated mall (the latter is 17 stories tall
and has an arena/playing field that can be used for autoduelling; it
is dwarfed by the arcology proper).

Details on arcology life, gangs, policlubs, people. Also, conflict
between the Valris foundation (which runs the mall in New Ed's stead)
and New Ed proper.

Chicago: History, various gangs & policlubs, places to go.

3-4 adventures in the back.

Just add magic and conform it to previous info an you're there.

Hmmm, after reading the subject, I got to thinking...

Could the deb decker have discovered how place and time exist as one in
the same? Chicago is a period of time! Wow! This could be the
scientific discovery of the month! Maybe even the year! Wow! And I have
the pleasure of knowing the person who made this monumental discovery!
Wow! I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!
