Could you please tell me the design and how one is made? This sounds
very interesting and I would appreciate any input.

Picture your basic crossbow. Now put an ammo box on top of the
crossbow (which holds the bolts of course). Also on top put a
cocking lever. Pull back on the lever and it pulls back the string.
As the string is pulled back into the trigger mechanism the lever at
this point activates a mechanism in the ammo box which drops a bolt
into place. Push the lever all the way forward to its original
position and you're ready for business.

I suppose with 2050's technology the ammo box could be mounted on the
underside of the bow and some sort of battery powered motor/gear
device could automatically cock and load the crossbow.
