Hoi chummers and chummettes,

The summaries of NAGRL have brought up what I think is a very
interesting point. The Shadowrun rulebook and most of the
sourcebooks so far have delivered a lot of tantalizing bits, but not
much substance to back them up. Ie. there are a lot of interesting
groups/power blocks/personalities/what have you that have been named,
but not fleshed out.

So, In future sourcebooks, what would you like to see discussed by
Fasa? In particular, what sourcebooks should they produce?

A couple that I'd like to see are:

1. Corporations Sourcebook. Okay, we've all heard about
Aztechnology, Fuchi and Ares Munitions, but what are they all about?
who runs them, what do they do, what do they REALLY do (if you get my
drift), where do they hold sway most, etc.

2. Policlubs. Humanis pops up in supporting roles all over the
place, but not much has been said about how they operate, and what
their big objectives are (I'm sure that there's more going on here
than just Metahuman discrimination). Other than these guys, ORC,
Nachtwhatever and a few other Polis have been mentioned in passing.
A few good examples to base your own policlubs on would be nice.

3. Organized Crime Sourcebook. What's the M.O. of the Yaks,
Seoulpas, and Mafia, and what other minor organizations are out
there. Who are the heavy hitters, and the rising stars of the
criminal world. Well, I'm sur this sounds familiar by now.

So whattaya all think? Are there any other glaring ommisions in the
Fasa linup?

What do I want to see? How about something that talks about what the hell
a rigger can do? The RBB was full of adds and construction guidelines,
but it doesn't really tell you HOW TO DO ANYTHING!!! ARRRRGH!!!!

Lets take SR off-world. There is a wonderful sourcebook for GURPS called
GURPS Terradyne. It is about a corp that has nestled itself nicely into
space and I regularily encorporate Terradyne into my campaigns (regular
trips to Luna or Mars, for example).

A Corp book would be great, as world a mob book.

Thats the first things off the top of my noggin.

A sourcebook of the Underground; somehow I think sending a

amusing run...

There is one in development. A Tir Tairngire sourcebook (how do y'all
pronounce TT anyways?), an LA sourcebook (it was ready to be printed, &
then the riots hit. According to Tom, it was a tad TOO accurate about
the riots. So they sent it back to be changed)
