I don't know if anyone's noticed but Lycos have just introduced a City
guide to their web site.

URL - http://cityguide.lycos.com/

I've only had a cursory poke around on there, visitng Chicago and
Seattle, but it does seem pretty comprehensive, and provides maps,
tours, and links to siters of interest within the cities.

As there is a noticeable lack of information on other cities within the
UCAS/CAS fand although some heroic efforts from other players have
produced one or two places, for people like myself who don't live in the
states, this facility has saved me hours of browsing on the internet to
find details on cities I have never been to, seen, or are likely to be
able to go near.

I have spent a fortune on maps of Seattle, Chicago, New Orleans, New
York, Boston, Vancouver, and am in the process of investing in more,
(though it takes so long to get hold of them where I live) this facility
has made life much easier.

Thought I'd let you all know, just in case someone else was interested
and not aware of the facility.

Hope it's helpful

Pete

Actually, a friend (Steven Tinner, here on the list) and I are currently
trying to put together a comprehensive Neo An's guide to Cleveland. We live
in the area, and since our characters escaped from Chicago (Even though for
some sick reason we keep going back) we've been living and working out of
Cleveland, Ohio. We figure all the industry and corp stuff had to go
somewhere, since Chicago's a DMZ now...:)

Has anyone else tried to do this for there home area?

Yeah, that's alright for you US types, but the AA over here makes you
pay for everything, the AAA don't exist, and the only way to get US maps
is through a bookstore, in fact, it's one of the few ys to get British
maps too. I knew I lived in the wrong country. :-)

Who cares about learning anything, kill the opposition before they get a
chance to advance, win the easy way.

As for working in the past, either Kurt is a clairvoyent reading
messages from the future and replying to them or his Date Stamp is
slightly out. BIOS problems anyone? ;)
