Wow, Almost half my mail is from the list. What a change.

I just wanted to say one more thing before I become somewhat
productive for the day.

I like the SR Matrix. It is very cinematic. And even though I GM and
don't get to actual play, a Decker is by far my favorite character. My
campaign has no decker, the characters pay my special NPC Deckers to
do it for them. But I have adapted my own interpretation of how the
matrix should work. It is based on my post that described how it might
work. I have made some great matrix stuff also. But they are
untested. When I have organized my next Brand Name Cyberware post I
will include the matrix equipment (decks, programs, etc.).

My opinion is that the way the people at FASA seem to view the Matrix
operating is naive and ,to my way of thinking, silly. I do not plan to
eliminate the Matrix from my game and I do not think that the Matrix
will not exist. But taking what I know about networking, computer
architecture, and programming, I believe that it will be different.
For an actual discussion with people who work with VR systems and
people who know a heck of a lot more about BioMedical applications
check out the discussions on sci.virtual-worlds newsgroup. This is a
Usenet Newsgroup that discussions the feasibility of Virtual Reality
with todays tech.. Also check out alt.cyberpunk and
alt.cyberpunk.tech.
