LOL!!!!! I don't know if "I'm Sorry" or "We're Sorry" would work here
with
regards to how you "reception was". The list does go in lulls of activity
though, and this is almost one of them. Give it another week or so, and I'm
*sure* things will increase dramatically. By then, "Man & Machine" should
have made its' way into more than just a scattering of hands.

What gives you that idea? Just because not everybody on the list says "Hi!
Welcome! Enjoy your stay!" doesn't mean we don't want you on the list --
unless you decide to be an asshole, you're welcome as far as I (and I
guess most listmembers with me) am concerned... Just participate in some
of the discussion and you'll feel right at home pretty quickly.

ShadowRN's threads vary a lot. Sometimes its silly stuff (like the Gamer
Shaman), at other times things get a lot more serious. Just stick around a
bit, or better yet: post about a subject you want to see discussed. You'll
be amazed at the tangents we can go off on :)

Hmm, that should be somewhat more challenging now that

much mail is coming in here already without the need for
a couple of hundred "Hi, welcome" messages. But since I

Well, right now we're being quiet. But if you go back in the logs a few
months and look for topics like Religion, War, whether or not Magic is real,
etc., you'll see we can get down with the best of them.

However, *read the FAQ.* We lost about half the active listmembers a few
months back due to one guy who started a fight with Bull, and a fight
revolving around some new jerk [me] and one of the old guard. Both of the
conversations were covered in the FAQ, and *verboten.* So I'd read that, if
I were you.

That said, from the bottom my heart, welcome. We look forward to your
contributions in the future, and are glad to have you with us.

Well, not my *literal* heart, obviously. But Anon doesn't know about the
hemopump, which provides me with a maximum of throughput for all substances
in my liquor/nicotine stream.

Obviously, I have no use for an actual heart, as it would impair the
function of my perfect mind.
