picked up on 'Hellblazer' although I do enjoy reading the devilishly
twisted 'Preacher' Dillon's art is fantastic.<<

What could have been a boring flame war on "The Fifth Element" has been
transformed into a positive exchange. I love this list!

Actually, I think the whole point of Constantine is that he has NO power at
all -- just knowledge and a large set of brass balls. This kind of segues
into a new question:

Has anyone played a character whose emphasis was neither cyber nor magic?
I've just created a cat-burglar character whose main priority is skills. No
spells, no wires. A couple of cybereyes and a lot of style....

Got one currently: Dirk the Daring, Villain Archetype :) He's fun, and
he's in it for himself, so you know where you stand.

Brother-1. Decker for hire.

Yeah, actually, this makes more sense. I just wanted the feel of
the character, not the power level. [Oops!]

He's actually a magician of reasonable power, able to make a total
stranger willingly hand over his chequebook, guarantee card and credit
cards to a filthy tramp when he needs to. Sounds like at least a little
magic to me :)

Got a detective like that. Cybereyes and a datajack and that's it. Makes
him interesting to play.

I borrowed the concept from a friend, who shared this exchange: three
PCs were about to embark on a covert raid. Hogan asked "Now, does
everyone have a silent weapon? I've got my crossbow. Silver? Marlowe?"

Silver says "I've got my silenced Predator."

Marlowe simply says "Yes."

"What silent weapon have you got?"

"I'm not carrying a weapon, so it's silent."
