>>Whoo hoo! Fellow Comic Fans! Matt Wagner is quite possibly one of my
all-time favorite writers. His 'Grendel Journals' are my most coveted
comic pieces. (I've got the entire Comico run, including the
black-white'n red) How about JBNM? I loved Neil's stroies, but never
picked up on 'Hellblazer' although I do enjoy reading the devilishly
twisted 'Preacher' Dillon's art is fantastic.<<
What could have been a boring flame war on "The Fifth Element" has been
transformed into a positive exchange. I love this list!

Be still, my foolish heart.
>>John Constantine could be a Burnt Out Mage, with more Magic Theory,
Conjuring Skill, and Balls than many experienced mages. [Mundanes can
use Conjuring theory, in an attempt to ward themselves and summon Free
Spririts they know the name of; they just might have a LITTLE bit of
trouble trying to deal with the spirit when it shows up, probably pissed
off, without magic. but that's John].<<
Actually, I think the whole point of Constantine is that he has NO power at
all -- just knowledge and a large set of brass balls. This kind of segues
into a new question:
Has anyone played a character whose emphasis was neither cyber nor magic?
I've just created a cat-burglar character whose main priority is skills. No
spells, no wires. A couple of cybereyes and a lot of style....
