Ok heres a nasty problem I havce encounterd and seem to be somewhat
thwarted in dealing with as a GM. My runners use the spirits concealment
powers to get them past sentries, sensors and just about plain everything
else. I know there are rules for this stuff but can someone give me
short and nasty answers on how to defeat them from beating sensors, and
sentries.

Yes I know i should look in the books, for the answers but I dont have
much time and as for recalling them: 1) theres to dam many rules to
recall all the time, and 2) My memory sucks, when I get excited, which is
every time I wake up!:)

Thanks Edge

My players never try to use spirits to sneak past sensors, but I tried it
once under another GM. He ruled that a sensor (a heat sensor to switch
lights on in that particular case) was technological, and it wasn't fooled
by the spirit's power. The guys we were sneaking up on were, however. At
least until the mage assensed us...

Bingo. . .easiest way is to have magic fight magic. Have other spirits/
watchers/mages running around reporting to security headquarters. The
spirits powers won't do much good then.

Well your statement is kind of what i'm going to do in the future. Now
here is a neat one: Does a white noise jammer counter act the effects of an
ultrasound sighting system? I have a hafling Physadd in my campaign that is
just sneaking the hell out of everything and it seems that using the web
of concealment (out of the physsadd netbook) he can only be picked up by
something using an ultraound sight or sensor. So then he starts packing
a white noie jammer and is inviable. What are your thoughts

Well just thi past week I had them run up into a UCAS SF team and the
Teams mage had conjured up some elemental. Worked ok but here again I
have another questions. When a mage/shaman delegates a spirit/elemental
to another being (in thi case the fire team on the roof) and the
delegated individual gets geeked, what happen to the spirit/elemental

Free spirit/elemental?

It's my thought that a white noise generator would set off
an ultrasound (any type of sonic) detector.

White noise generators don't damped or make less of noise,
they put out variable frequency sound that allegedly
harmonicises bugs. So the little bugs transceiver goes
crazy.

You roll to see if the spirit/elemental (if I say spirit I mean usually
nature spirits, not elementals, but sometimes both. Confusing eh?) goes
free. I believe it's 2D6 and if you roll below or equal to the Force
(s)he/it goes free.
