I like it. Its sick, its twisted, its outside the reach of players. You
just have to remember that just because I got a light wound on the
elephant doesn't mean I knock off two boxes... just the 1

And the nice thing is, the system is adjustable. If you have a odd
situation like, for instance, an elephant taking falling damage (which
is a Deadly wound of variable power, IIRC), where a Deadly wound
really should be considered 100% of the condition monitor, and a
Serious wound 60% (instead of 10 or 6 boxes), then it's still fairly
easy to apply the appropriate amount of damage.
