Not having played at a con before, what is the pace of these things?
With Gen Con now under an hour from home I can finally get to it, and am
wanting to get some SR in. I am assuming characters are pre generated
and just have to be played. What is the usual level of skill involved,
and all that?

As an aside, I noticed you've been using Eudora which uses the
attribution "you wrote", you can change this <user> wrote with the line
"ReplyAttribution=At %1, %2 wrote:" in your eudora.ini file.

Is that like your script to put people's names in Gurth?
When you mentioned that in ages past I thought Oooh... Oh hang on I can I
be bothered?
If it's as simple as sticking a little tiny bit of text in my .ini file I
might consider it. :-)

Lone Eagle, you do realize of course that your Eudora is already set up to
do that. ;)

Actually I laboriously overwrite "you" with "<insert name here>"
every time.

The things I do to make your lives easier ;-)

I've wondered how to make it do that for ever! Other than by doing "reply
all", which requires me to remove the original address from the CC field
and possibly double posting, I haven't been able to figure out how to do it.

According to Lone Eagle, on Wed, 19 Feb 2003 the word on the street was...

No, I use kmail, in which all you need to do is go to Settings ->
Configuration -> Composer, where you can enter the string displayed at the
top of quoted messages. In my case, it's "According to %F, on %D the word
on the street was..." The same thing, essentially, except that it works a
bit differently in Eudora. You might want to experiment with different
variables than just %1 and %2; you might also be able to get it to include
the subject, the sender's full name or only the address, or something like
that.

Hmm, anyone know of a way to make Outlook do that? And to also add
