This came to me personally. I think it was meant for the list, but if
not, I think it deserves list inclusion anyways.

With today's circus of courtrooms and lawyers, the only sensible thing
to do would be to make this list public domain. If a person decided to,
after publishing, split up his or her profits with participating people,
then so be it. If not, who cares. Who here on this list wouldn't like
to see a movie where Tom Cruise or Mel Gibson was playing a role that
they invented or created? Personally, I like the thought that people
might find my character concept worthy of inclusion in a module or story
or whatever. I'd just like to be notified so I'd know what to look for
and when to buy it.
Thanks for putting up with my .02NY worth.

Well, this would be wonderful, if I weren't planning on using elements
that I have created for publishing myself. I mean, if I wasn't planning
on publishing (or even considering it) then yes, the flattery would be...
flattering. But otherwise, someone else is using an idea that I would
like to use myself.
