I'm working on a web page for my Shadowrun campaign that I'm running and I
have a section that contains a Timeline of events that my characters have
gone through. The adventures that I have run my characters through so far
have all been published adventures with my own little twists here and there.
Would it be copyright infringement to give a description of what happens to
the characters? It would definitely be a spoiler but I would not be copying
text or stats directly from the books.

Thanks in advance,
-Chariot

As long as you are descirbing what happened to the characters, but not
reporducing the text exactly, it should not constitute copyright infringement.
Just try to keep the descriptions as short as possible and you should have no
problems.

On a related note:
At one point in time, FASA *asked* players to send in little "news stories"
about what our runners had done (no names, of course), for use, IIRC, in their
adventure modules' "faxsheet" -type player handouts.

I don't know whatever became of this policy, but I even sent in a few myself.

It shouldn't be as stated..However..you should insert one of those SR
is the property of FASA ect and blah blah..statements on your
page somewhere....This should satisfy things..
